DC's Top 'NewsBabes' Party for The Cure
Markette and Vanessa with WUSA 9's Angie Goff, host of the 2nd Annual Newsbabes Bash for Breast Cancer. Activist and Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker, who made it her life-long mission to find a cure after her sister (Susan G. Komen) succumbed to breast cancer, came to the event to personally thank Washington, DC's news women for their support.
Held at the Ritz Carlton - Georgetown, the event donated 100% of proceeds to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
